od is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He is the real, true God who cares for us & has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:1, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2
About Jesus ChristJ
esus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin & death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to earth reigning as King of kings and Lord of lords.
Matthew 1:22-23, John 1:1-5, Hebrews 4:14-15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 1 Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:13
About the Holy SpiritT
he Holy Spirit is present in the world to make mankind aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He lives I every Christian from the moment of salvation. He empowers and gifts believers to overcome the problems we face and help others throughout our life.
John 14:16-18, John 16:7-13, Ephesians 1:13, Galatians 5:25, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 Corinthians 12
e are all made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Although mankind has tremendous potential for good, we are marred by an attitude or nature of disobedience toward God called “sin”. This attitude or nature separates us from God.
Genesis 1:27, Isaiah 53:6, Romans 3:23
e all were created to exist forever: either we exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. The place of eternal separation from God is called Hell. Heaven is the place of eternal union and eternal life with God.
John 3:16, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15, Matthew 25:41, Revelation 21:27
he good news is that salvation is a gift from God to mankind. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin’s penalty. Our faith journey begins when we give our lives to Jesus Christ, and we express our commitment and unity with Christ through baptism by immersion. Salvation is sustained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.
Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6, Titus 3:5, Romans 6:3-4, John 10:29, Hebrews 10:14, Acts 2:38
About the BibleT
he Bible is God’s word to all mankind. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error.
2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21
About the ChurchT
he Church is God’s primary way to accomplish His purposes on earth today. God calls us as a Church to live as a spiritual family made up of all people groups.
Galatians 3:26-29, Ephesians 4:15-16
is to change life as we know it through the love, loyalty and friendship of Jesus Christ
Belong:Too many of us journey alone. God has said it isn’t good for mankind to be alone- we agree.
So we offer our HANDS of friendship to hold or to help or to pray.
We offer our HEART of love and kindness and forgiveness – being glad about the truth that can set you free.
We will want the best for you and Jesus and will work to that end.
We offer our CROWN of loyalty- our treasures, our time, our talent. We offer all that Jesus first offered to us.
But belonging isn’t one way relationally. Belonging is participating in the life of the church.
So we invite you to grow in your LOVE (intimacy/closeness) with Jesus through worship and His word.
We invite you to grow in your LOYALTY (identity) with the spiritual family started by the Father through the Son and held together by His Spirit.
We invite you to grow in your FRIENDSHIP (responsibility), learning to extend the same friendship Jesus gave to you to others that He longs to bring into His kingdom.
BelieveMost all of mankind operates on the principal, “I do things, and God accepts me.” But when Jesus came and changed everything, Christ-followers operated on a principle different from the world: “God accepts me, and I delight in following Him.” We invite you to sit at the table with Jesus, who offered his servant hands nailed to the cross, his Father’s heart pierced with love, and His holy head crowned with thorns. Believe in the person, Jesus Christ, not just a set of facts or information.
BecomeOur world likes to divide things into pole/opposites: the religious and irreligious, the good and the bad, moralism or relativisim, conservative or liberal. But the Gospel of Jesus is entirely new spirituality. Jesus and His Gospel take another approach: everyone is wrong, everyone is loved, and everyone is called to recognize this and change. Because of the Gospel there is now freedom to forgive yourself and your enemies, free to love, free to live a life unbound, free to become what God envisioned for us.
We want to help outsiders (outside of Christ) become insiders (in Christ). We want to see those transformed by Christ’s love to begin to live out the ‘other-centered’ and sacrificial love that asks, “how can I bless (help, serve, surprise) those around me in the place I live and work?”
All people matter to GodRomans 5:8 & 1 Timothy 2:4
We want to give full devotion to Jesus2 Corinthians 5:15,20 & 1 Corinthians 15:58

Authenticity is essential to be real with God, one another, and ourselvesLamentations 3:40 & Ephesians 4:25
Building community to reach a communityEphesians 2:21 & 4:16
We want to share the message of Jesus with relevanceActs 17:16-34
