What if Christ-followers really fought to keep our eyes fixed on Christ all hours of the day? What if looking at Christ wasn’t just done on a Sunday morning or Sunday evening? What would that look like? Whether or not you believe it, the Bible makes it clear that we are in a battle. This battle is not against any person or group. It’s not “us vs. them.” It is a battle to see Christ as supreme in every area of our lives. In a world that is full of things competing for our affections, how do we make Christ the most prized? At Fight Club our goal is to journey toward that together… namely, by fighting hard to keep our eyes fixed on Christ. Come join us on the 1st & 3rd Sunday nights of each month… 4:00pm-6:00pm @ The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club (Haywood Rd in West Asheville).
What is a Christ-follower to believe in a world that says, “believe whatever you want?” How do we respond to this invitation? Very simply, a Christ-follower is to know WHAT they believe. We are to know WHY we believe. And ultimately, we are to know WHO we believe.
