- Church Planting in the U.S. & Ecuador
Currently in the U.S. less than 20% of the population are now connected with a local church. In 2005 Stadia helped to fund and launch Highland Christian Church in Asheville, NC. At the time there were only 7 other new Stadia churches east of the Mississippi. Today, through a Network of churches working together there are now over 50 churches, like Highland, that have been planted–11 of them in 2011. We contribute regularly to Stadia to continue help start new churches in one of the largest English speaking mission fields in the world: the United States. In the past two years Stadia has joined Compassion International to help start churches in Ecuador in the poorest regions, so that Compassion programs can reach the neediest children (Compassion only goes where it can partner with a local church). Four new churches have been planted in Ecuador, with two of the churches having Compassion programs with nearly 300 sponsored children.

- Church Planting, U.S.
In 2005, SMCMF helped fund and launch Highland Christian Church in downtown Asheville, NC, at the Orange Peel. In 2012, SMCMF helped Highland launch its second campus in the River Arts District, at The Grey Eagle. SMCMF is our local church planting network, that we partner with to help plant churches in the southeastern U.S. Together, we have been able to contribute to the planting of a sister church with two campuses in Knoxville, TN (Crossisngs) and a house-church network in Boone, NC.
